- One 50g ball each of Katia Savana Mouliné in Colour in 203 (Ochre/Brown/Grey) and 204 (Green/Yellow Green/Grey);
- One pair of 6mm/60cm circular knitting needles;
- One stitch marker;
- Yarn needle for sewing in ends and a small pair of scissors.
Garter Stitch in the round (alternating rows of knit and purl).
Tension:
As this is not a fitted garment, tension is not crucial.
Finished Size:
Approximately 26cm high x 64cm circumference.
To Make:
With 6mm/60cm circular knitting needles, and colour 204 (green), cast on 84 stitches. Add a stitch marker, then work in the round as follows:
Row 1 (right side): Knit every stitch. Slip marker.
Row 2: Purl every stitch. Slip marker.
These two rows form "Garter Stitch knitted in the round". Continue with these two rows until the work measures 14cm from the cast on edge, ending on a purl row.
Next row: leaving colour 204 (green) attached, knit 84 stitches in colour 203 (yellow), slip marker, then returning to colour 204 (green), purl every stitch, slip marker. Repeat these two rows once more.
Leaving a tail of yarn, snip colour 204 (green), then continue with "Garter Stitch knitted in the round" in colour 203 (yellow).
Continue with these two rows until the entire work measures 26cm from the cast on edge, ending on a purl row.
Cast off knitwise. Sew in yarn ends.
