Collection: Scheepjes Beatrix Blanket MAL designed by Jellina Verhoeff

In 2022, Scheepjes collaborated with crochet designer Jellina Verhoeff, presenting a stunning make-along, called The Beatrix Blanket. Here's how Scheepjes describes the project:

"The design features damask motifs and rich graduated colour and was inspired by the Beata Beatrix, a painting by Pre-Raphaelite artist Rosetti. It’s the perfect project for intermediate crafters looking to develop or refresh skills in tapestry crochet and experiment with gradient colour effects."

The recommended yarns for the project are Scheepjes Whirl and Whirlette , and here's what Jellina used:

Scheepjes Whirl (60% Cotton, 40 Acrlic; 215g/1000m)
Yarn A: 769 Blackberry Mint Chip x 3 yarn cakes

Scheepjes Whirlette (60% Cotton, 40% Acrylic; 100g/455m)
Yarn B: 885 Plum x 2 yarn cakes
Yarn C: 882 Tangy Olive x 1 yarn cake

Dimensions: 150 x 123cm (59 x 48½”), blocked using 3mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge.
