This innovative yarn from Katia is the result of an environmental initiative, dedicated to the collection and reuse of salvaged marine plastics. The result is a fabulously soft, variegated yarn, made up of a combination of cotton and recycled polyester, made from plastic waste collected from the sea.

The beautiful colourways yield a dazzling array of striking stripes in a captivating watercolour effect. The generously sized 150g skeins yield 600m of yarn, letting you create an entire shawl from just one skein!

This Katia yarn is strictly limited in its availability, so best be quick to secure a skein for your stash.

Katia even provides you with free patterns for a crocheted shawl as well as a child's Granny Square top, which you can download here.
