Jim Shore is an enormously popular and award winning artist, well known for his innovative and charming approach to American Folk Art. He has collaborated with Mill Hill to create a series of beautiful designs for the enjoyment of the avid cross stitcher.
Create your own beautiful piece of festive art to display in your home with this Mill Hill Jim Shore "Gnome with Ornaments" Counted Cross Stitch Kit. The cross stitch embroidery is worked on an easy-to-use 14 count perforated paper, further embellished with glass beads.
Perforated paper dates back to the Victorian era, and has been used by needleworkers to create embroidered pieces to be used as cards and ornaments. This paper is extremely firm and resists tearing but can be cut with scissors or a craft knife. Wrinkles can be removed using a warm iron.
Use this charming piece as a Christmas Tree ornament, gift decoration, brooch - its uses are only limited by your imagination!
This kit contains 14 count perforated paper, stranded embroidery floss, needles and chartered design and instructions.
